We do as many as you would like but on average anywhere between one and two per day for cats and other small animals and two to three per day for dogs although sometimes clients request four visits per day which we will do as well. It’s really up to you on how many you would like based on your Pet’s needs. Please note, if you do request only two visits per day for dogs and we find your dogs are not able to hold it 12 hours where they are having frequent accidents we will recommend you to up it to three visits per day. If you decline this, we will have to start charging you five dollars extra per visit immediately due to frequent clean up and more time involved. If you only want two visits per day for your dog, they will be every 12 hours.
We do provide coverage if owner is unavailable. We always give clients the option to have our back up assistants fill in. However, please note that they are not employees of CNY Pet Care “Paw”vider. They serve as independent contractors. They are not insured through CNY Pet Care “Paw”vider. All independent contractors for CNY Pet Care “Paw”vider are experienced with a background in working with animals. They have demonstrated they are responsible, reliable, trustworthy and have a solid work ethic.
Our rates are based on full days only. We don’t offer half day rates. You may certainly drop your dog off for a partial day/few hours or however long you need but the rate is always the same no matter half or full.
We are pretty flexible on drop off and pick up times for the most part but base it around our schedule since owner is not always home. We provide multiple Pet Care services so during the week Mon - Fri in the afternoons, we are out doing drop in visits in client’s homes when they’re at work. Plus we do multiple drop in visits per day as booked in clients homes when they are away on vacation.
30 minute standard visits
We offer boarding in our home, doggy daycare in our home, basic grooming, pet transportation, daily drop in visits in clients homes when they are at work, multiple drop in visits in clients homes when they are away on vacation. Owner is currently pursuing dog training certification. Once schooling is completed, dog training services will be offered as well. Please note, we do not offer overnight care in client’s homes as it would conflict with our other services such as boarding in our home and multiple drop in visits in client’s homes when they are away plus taking care of our own dogs in our home.
The next step would be a meet and greet. The meet and greet would be in our home if it’s going to be services with us or in your home if it will be services done in your home. Please note, our meet and greets are now a free up to 30 minute consultation. Prior, we did not put time frames on meet and greets but due to our growing clientele we have to allow time to accommodate everyone. Meet and greets are typically conducted in the mornings or evenings Monday through Friday. We will occasionally hold them on a weekend if that is the only time it will work for someone as long as we have the availability.
Effective as of 9/1/20: If you pick your pet up before 3:00 PM on the day of pick up, there will be no extra charge. If you pick your pet up after 3:00 PM, you’ll be charged for a day of daycare which is cheaper than the boarding rates. For pet transportation (drop off home from boarding), as long as it’s arranged for us to drop pet(s) off before 3:00 pm there will be no charge for daycare. Please note, we don’t have separate rates as some boarding facilities have where you have the option to board your dogs without interaction with other dogs for less or pay more for your dogs to have interaction with other dogs. Our rates for boarding are all based on dog interaction. Even if your dog has to be separate than the other dogs during their whole stay, they still have much more human interaction. There is more time involved with them individually during their stay regardless.
Food, a crate if you have one, collar and leash, Proof that vaccinations are current, food and water bowls. Also, the required paperwork that you should or will be receiving via email. You may fill it out and email back to us, print it out and bring with you at drop off or send it in the mail if there is enough time prior to start date. Optional items to bring are treats, toys, bed, blanket. Medications if your pet takes any. We highly recommend bringing blankets/beds from home because it smells like home/ is a familiar scent to the dog. From my experience, I have found it helps tremendously.
All pets must be friendly and up-to-date on rabies
